Moshi has a pretty good nightlife and some nice restaurants. Feel free to explore this town, but please follow some basic safety precautions
It is much safer to stay in large groups. Do not walk at night – take tax(In town taxi is about 3,000 to 5,000Tsh .From Moshi town to the Home base a Daladala cost 400Tsh. Don’t carry any bags or money that you can’t afford to loose.
If you want to go out for dinner or get a drink in the evening, there are several hotels options in town that will be exposed to you to get started. Prices change quickly here so excuse any vague references to costs. The price of soda is around Tshs. 700 to 1000. The nicer the place, the higher the prices, new restaurants are opening all the time. Feel free to explore them.
